Aratek, a global leader in biometrics and trusted partner for digital identity programs, will exhibit at ID4Africa 2026, taking place from 12–15 May 2026 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. Visitors can meet Aratek at Booth #M17.
Under this year’s theme, “Digital Identity: From DPI to Digital Public Ecosystems,” Aratek will present its latest biometric enrollment kits, rugged mobile ID terminals, and biometric capture devices for real-world identity enrollment, verification, and authentication.
The showcase will include MOSIP-compliant enrollment solutions and biometric devices, together with FBI-certified fingerprint technologies, iris capture devices, integrated face and iris capture, and field-ready mobile terminals. Rather than presenting standalone hardware, Aratek will focus on how the right biometric design can support different program environments, standards, workflows, and deployment models.
“Digital identity programs succeed when technology matches the operating reality,” said Samuel Wu, Vice President of International Business Division at Aratek. “At ID4Africa 2026, we will show how Aratek helps governments and partners design practical biometric solutions for field deployment, system integration, and long-term program operation.”
Identity enrollment rarely happens in one perfect environment. Programs may involve fixed registration centers, mobile teams, rural outreach, border sites, and temporary enrollment stations.
At ID4Africa 2026, Aratek will showcase its MiniE Enrollment Kit and Backpack Enrollment Kit as two examples of its solution-driven approach. The MiniE Enrollment Kit supports compact, multi-modal enrollment in a protected portable setup, while the Backpack Enrollment Kit is designed for higher mobility, faster transportation, and easier field deployment.
Together, they reflect Aratek’s role in helping customers design the right enrollment form factor, device combination, and workflow based on technical standards, field conditions, program objectives, and tender requirements.
Aratek will also present its rugged mobile terminal lineup, including Marshall 8R, Marshall 8R Plus, Marshall 5, and MobileEnroll, Aratek’s new handheld biometric enrollment device.
The Marshall 8R and Marshall 8R Plus are built for demanding field environments where durability, mobility, and multi-modal identity functions matter. The Marshall 8R Plus, with FBI FAP 60 tenprint capture and MOSIP compliance, supports large-scale enrollment programs that require high-quality biometric data capture in rugged mobile conditions.
MobileEnroll further reflects Aratek’s engineering direction: bringing key biometric and data capture functions into a compact handheld form factor to simplify field operations and support flexible enrollment workflows outside traditional registration centers.
For system integrators building customized identity solutions, Aratek will also showcase IR210 and IR201 iris scanners, FC300R integrated face and iris capture device, and A400, A600, A700, A800, and A900 fingerprint scanners.
These devices support different capture requirements across enrollment, verification, and authentication workflows. The FC300R also demonstrates Aratek’s practical engineering mindset by combining face and iris capture in one unit, helping reduce setup complexity and streamline multi-modal enrollment design.
As digital identity continues to evolve from foundational infrastructure toward broader public service ecosystems, biometric enrollment and authentication remain critical to building trusted, inclusive, and reliable systems.
Aratek supports this transition with standards-ready biometric technologies, field-ready devices, integration-ready SDKs, and engineering experience for real deployment conditions.
Visitors are invited to meet Aratek at Booth #M17 during ID4Africa 2026 to explore its biometric enrollment kits, rugged mobile terminals, and biometric capture devices for national ID, voter registration, civil registration, border management, financial inclusion, and other identity programs.
