Aratek has announced its participation in the 2023 edition of ID4Africa at Booth #H2-03, which this year pitches “Digital Identity as Public Infrastructure,” also a long-time thrust of the company.
“We are always excited to go to ID4Africa, as the people behind it share our belief on how crucial it is for digital identity to be considered part of public infrastructure,” said Aratek VP for International Business Division Samuel Wu. “The technology can spur unprecedented development in Africa by improving access to critical services, enabling financial inclusion, and boosting social and economic activities,” he added.
Aratek is expected to bring to Kenya, which hosts this year’s show, its complete suite of biometric products and solutions for any enrollment and identification ID programs such as national ID, voter registration, SIM registration and financial inclusion, among others.
Taking centerstage at the Aratek booth is Marshall 8 Plus, the 8-inch 442 biometric tablet designed for secure ID enrollment and authentication in large-scale digital ID initiatives. The powerful device features a 4-4-2 ten-print fingerprint sensor, along with cutting-edge facial and iris recognition capabilities, ensuring unparalleled biometric identity registration and authentication performance.
The Marshall 8 Plus features integrated NFC and Smart card readers, barcode scanning, and MRZ passport reader, and PSAM card technology, offering an additional layer of security for sensitive data transmission and storage. With an IP65 rating, it can withstand the most demanding conditions, and is ideal for initiatives such as national ID, voter registration, social welfare distribution, mobile border control, law enforcement, e-Passport & VISA, finance & banking, among others.
Aratek is also set to demo its comprehensive line of fingerprint scanners and fingerprint modules from FBI FAP 10 to FAP 60, with every model proven to deliver excellent image quality for every digital ID application of any scale.
Completing the lineup is TrustDMS, Aratek’s all-in-one platform that allows users to easily configure, manage, and secure Aratek biometric mobile devices anywhere. TrustDMS serves as a virtual command and control center that gives organizations the capability to manage digital identity remotely while ensuring data security in real-time, making it an indispensable component of every biometric digital identity program.
